How we collect, use, and protect your personal information on the TruNRI platform.
Section 01
This Privacy Policy explains how Trunri collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal information when you access or use the platform, including the mobile application, website, and related services. Trunri is designed as a community and service-based platform connecting users for communication, events, job opportunities, accommodation listings, and task-based services.
By using Trunri, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with its terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the platform.
Section 02
Trunri collects information necessary to provide and improve its services. When you create an account, we may collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, and profile details. We may also collect location-related information to enable features such as discovering nearby restaurants, events, and users.
Additionally, we collect usage data including how you interact with the platform, device information, IP address, and log data for analytics and security purposes.
Where you engage in communication features such as individual chats, group chats, forums, or discussions, we may store and process the content of those communications to enable functionality, improve services, and ensure compliance with our policies.
For subscription services and payments, Trunri does not directly store sensitive financial information such as credit or debit card details. Payments are processed through third-party providers such as app stores, and we may receive limited transactional information such as subscription status, payment confirmation, and billing details.
Section 03
Trunri uses your information to operate, maintain, and improve the platform. This includes enabling user accounts, facilitating communication between users, providing personalized recommendations such as nearby services and events, and supporting features like job postings, accommodations, and tasker services.
We may use your data to send notifications, updates, and service-related communications. Additionally, your information helps us monitor usage patterns, detect fraudulent or harmful activity, enforce our Terms and Conditions, and ensure the safety and integrity of the platform.
Section 04
Trunri allows users to share content and communicate with others through chats, groups, and forums. Any information you share in these areas may be visible to other users depending on the nature of the feature. While we implement measures to protect user data, we cannot guarantee the privacy of information voluntarily shared with others on the platform.
We may review, monitor, or analyze user content where necessary to comply with legal obligations, enforce our policies, or improve platform functionality. However, we do not actively monitor all communications in real time.
Section 05
To enhance user experience, Trunri may collect and process location data to provide features such as nearby restaurants, events, and local services. This data may be collected through your device settings or inferred from your IP address. You have the option to disable location access through your device settings; however, doing so may limit certain functionalities of the platform.
Section 06
When you use the Tasker feature to hire individuals in India for services such as shopping or personal errands, relevant information such as your request details, communication with the Tasker, and transaction information may be collected and processed to facilitate the service.
As Taskers operate independently, users are responsible for the information they share during such engagements. Trunri does not control how Taskers use or handle information outside the platform.
Section 07
Trunri does not sell your personal information to third parties. However, we may share your information with trusted third-party service providers who assist in operating the platform, such as hosting services, analytics providers, customer support tools, and payment processors. These parties are required to handle your data securely and only for the purposes specified by Trunri.
We may also disclose your information where required by law, regulation, or legal process, or where necessary to protect the rights, safety, and property of Trunri, its users, or others.
Section 08
Trunri implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. These measures include secure servers, encryption, and access controls. Despite these efforts, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
Section 09
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, including providing services, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements. When your data is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it, subject to any legal requirements to retain certain information.
Section 10
Depending on applicable laws, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or request deletion of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent for certain data processing activities. Users can manage account information directly within the app or contact us for assistance. Please note that certain information may be retained where required for legal or legitimate business purposes.
Section 11
Trunri is not intended for use by individuals under the age of eighteen. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Section 12
The platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, or applications. These external platforms operate independently and have their own privacy policies. Trunri is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such third-party services.
Section 13
As Trunri operates globally, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your location, including India and Australia. By using the platform, you consent to such transfers, subject to appropriate safeguards for data protection.
